Object of Sabine Laidig`s exploration and analyses is the meander form. More precisely,
the rectangularly winded recurring pattern, which is an ornamental symbol of fluctuation,
a metaphor for constant movement and the passage of time. In fact, the meander form
is said
to be indebted to the river Mäandros, now Büyük menderes, in Asia Minor.
